Feline 13 by soulofwinter Feline 13 by soulofwinter
A new version of the cat for 2013 is now out! I'm not planning on phasing out the original any time soon, but sometimes my mind wanders and I enjoy a little variety. This cat is slightly larger than the original cat, but still takes the wing modifications quite well. It was also my first pendant experiment in Monster Clay. Surprisingly, the monster clay casts well, and I'm quite fond of the way the surface feels! These were the first experimental batch of paints.

Customs, along with these paints and all the new pendant designs are for sale in my shop right now:

These look awesome, particularly the golden Siamese one. I love the option of adding wings too. I would buy several of these and suspend them with invisible thread (not sure if I hate or love that stuff) all around my desk so I'd be surrounded by mystical floating cats, lol.

This is the second time I've heard of monster clay. I just discovered Super Sculpey, but maybe I'll have to try the other stuff too :D

Hehe, it would be awesome to have floating cats all around! Yeah, the Monster clay has a completely different feel from the Super Sculpey. It was definitely worth trying it for me, if nothing else now I have a few different ways I can approach a sculpture!

Thank you! The Siamese are probably my favorite from the first batch too, especially the flame point :D
