The Hippocamp Part 3 - ACEO by soulofwinter The Hippocamp Part 3 - ACEO by soulofwinter
More of the Hippocamp series, this one was done in Copic/Prismacolor Markers then painted over in Photoshop. I thought it would be neat to feature a larger group of fish within a few cards. When all three cards are collected, they form a larger picture (as seen here). It was fun figuring out the variations in head/fin shapes and sizes on one piece :D This one features Killifish. I didn't write down exactly what each of the species were, and the back one was based on a few different fish. I think it would be fun to an even larger ACEO collection like this, I'd probably do Cichlids next, just because I've been been so in love with that family of fish since I was a kid ^_^

Wow. Hippocampi aren't a particular interest of mine, but these are a colorful delight to the eye! I liked your cloud cats, too; I just hate to think what it's like when they shed...

Done any mermaids like this? I like the exotic.

Thank you! Nope, haven't done mermaids before. Haha, a shedding cloud cat would be a nightmare, I imagine it would cause massive flooding! xD
