Cotton Thistle, Poison Hemlock, Cottonwood Tree, and one old Coyote.

Playing around with shapes and textures! Also having an end of season party with some of my friends that inhabit the same bit of land that I do. A lot of people see these guys as invasive, (which technically, between the way they spread and most of them not being human friendly, they are a hard bunch to manage), but they're an important part of my inner landscape. The visual difference between the two herbs is interesting too. The Hemlock seems so fragile, while the Thistle looks aggressive. While I certainly wouldn't roll in Thistle, it's the Hemlock that people should really be careful with. I know it's silly to put people emotions to plants, but I have this image of Hemlock growing amongst the Thistle just so that it can say, "ha, try and chop me down now humans!" Thistle is like Hemlock's spiny bodyguard, haha!
